Homemade Greek Tzatziki Dip

This summer try my recipe for a simple Greek yogurt dip – Tzatziki! It light, creamy and fresh..perfect with fresh vegetables or crackers!

What if I told you, you can make something Greek with ingredients that in your refrigerator right now. Ingredients that you probably overlooked as being too simple or too common..well, my recipe for this Greek Tzatziki dip is going to use just those ingredients! It’s as simple as 1,2,3 and takes about 10 minutes in total. It fresh, light and goes great with fresh vegetables, over meats or with crackers! For this dip you need: yogurt, cucumber, garlic, olive oil and lemons..yes just that. So get them ingredients ready and make this dip already!

RECIPE: Homemade Greek Tzatziki Dip

Serves: 2-3     Time: 10 minutes


  • Strained Yogurt (hung curd), 1 cup
  • Olive oil, 2 tablespoons (or mayonnaise; using mayo is not traditional but works well)
  • Grated Cucumber, 1
  • Lemon juice, 1 teaspoon
  • Grated Garlic Cloves, 2
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Dill, Parsley or Coriander, chopped


In a bowl mix yogurt and olive oil until you get a creamy consistency. Add the remaining ingredients and adjust the taste as per your liking. Serve with carrots and cucumbers or crackers. This dip goes well with lamb dishes as well so serve it as a side dip for meats too.

How to make pizza sauce at home?

Use this extremely easy sauce for pizzas and even pastas. Its super easy and doesn’t even take that long.


Homemade pizza sauce


Makes: 1 cup sauce approx.

Olive oil, 2 tablespoonsTime: 20 minutes

  • Butter Optional
  • Garlic, 5-6 cloves, finely chopped
  • Red Onions, 2 large, finely chopped
  • Tomatoes, 4 large, pureed
  • Water, 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • Sugar, 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. Homemade pizza sauceHeat olive oil in a heavy bottomed pan along with the butter. Once the butter melts, add in the finely chopped garlic,fry for a minute and add in the onions. Fry these on low until the onions turn light brown.
  2. Once the onions have browned add in the pureed tomatoes and fry these
    on low until the sauce develops a deep red color, Add in the sugar, salt, pepper and water and give it a boil. Blend the sauce in a food processor to make it smoother and use as a base for pizzas. The key is to use the freshest and reddest of tomatoes.

Eggs in Bell Peppers

Hello my readers!

A few days back, I found this really adorable picture of eggs in bell peppers on the internet. I was so impressed with how easy and cute they looked that I couldn’t stop myself from trying it! (addicted to cooking I guess) :p

So, I’ll show you how to make these really easy, I mean, really really easy Eggs in bell peppers for breakfast! All the guys, who starve themselves to death because you can’t cook a decent meal, READ THIS! All you need is eggs, bell peppers, tomato and seasoning! I made this today and it turned out great! Loved the recipe too much and they look super adorable too!

  • 2 Eggs
  • Bell peppers (any color)
  • 1 tomato
  • Salt, pepper and oregano for seasoning

Heat a pan, add some olive oil. Cut a thick slice of bell pepper (deep enough for an egg to fit) and tomato. Cook tomatoes and bell peppers for a bit on either sides. Season the tomato after putting them inside the peppers. Crack an egg in each bell pepper case and cook until done to your liking! Season with salt, pepper and oregano!

Breakfast is ready! As easy as that!
